As we inch closer to the conclusion of the 2020 MLB season finalists for awards will begin to surface, as did the finalists for the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards this afternoon.
The Chicago White Sox have five players named to the list of finalists, a significant change of events from just last year. Despite second-baseman Yolmer Sanchez winning a Gold Glove Award in 2019, the White Sox as a team were among the worst in baseball last season posting a -56 DRS.
In 2020 the White Sox ranked seventh in baseball with 23 DRS. Here’s the list complete list of American League finalists with White Sox players listed in bold.
